OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

The CMI team of experienced professionals provides premier event planning services for our corporate, private, and non-profit clients. We are goal oriented and create events that are unique, seamless, effectively meet our client’s objectives, are expertly managed, and stay within budget.

As a registered Professional Fundraising firm, we specialize in developing unique charitable benefits that are both exciting and memorable for the guests and financially successful for the organization.

We provide full service event planning, management and fundraising operations including:

  • Provide a complete monthly timeline from event conception to completion.
  • Develop a pricing structure for table, ticket and sponsorship levels.
  • Identify appropriate benefit leadership, including honorees, chairs, host, etc.
  • Create a master fundraising database comprised of development research as well as lists from board members, benefit leadership, and the client.
  • Serve as the liaison to the benefit leadership, attend meetings, provide updates and direction, and serve as the day-to-day contact.
  • Develop tailored solicitation letters and coordinate all aspects of the mailings.
  • Manage financial records of responses for table and tickets sales and provide financial updates on a regular basis.
  • Receive all RSVPs and provide a dedicated telephone line and email address for inquires.
  • Place any follow-up phone calls as needed and/or requested to secure potential donors.
  • Oversee the production of all benefit materials including save-the-dates, invitations and programs.
  • Assist in creating and updating an event budget.
  • Request proposals, negotiate prices and serve as the liaison to all the event vendors.
  • Identify and solicit corporations for in-kind donations and underwriting of expenses.
  • Obtain guest names and coordinate seating process with benefit leadership and client; provide complete guest lists for distribution.
  • Create a minute-by-minute timeline for the event production.
  • Create event briefing materials and scripts for the speaking program.
  • Develop and coordinate mailing of formal acknowledgement letters to all paid subscribers.
  • Manage follow-up with outstanding donors following the benefit.
  • Provide a final report which includes final budget/earned income, copies of all correspondence and any updates to lists that were provided.
  • Submit contract and registration information as well as final financial reporting to the New York Office of the Attorney General Charities Bureau.
